Spurs 114, Heat 104: Tony Parker scored 26 points and Manu Ginobili has his best game of the postseason with 24 points and 10 assists as host San Antonio sailed past Miami to take a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals.

Danny Green was 6-for-10 from 3-point range while scoring 24 points, Tim Duncan had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Kawhi Leonard added 16 points and eight rebounds as the Spurs moved one victory from their fifth world championship. Game 6 is Tuesday in Miami.

LeBron James scored 25 points and Dwayne Wade had 25 points and 10 assists for Miami, which is one loss from falling in the NBA Finals for the second time in three years. Ray Allen scored 15 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Heat cut a 20-point deficit to eight with 1:37 to play before Parker scored on a driving bank shot and Green nailed a 3-pointer to get the lead back to 13 with 1:06 remaining.

San Antonio led by one when Green drained his fifth 3-pointer with 2:54 left in the third quarter to start a 21-2 run. Ginobili scored seven points as the Spurs scored 12 of the final 13 points of the stanza and Leonard hit two free throws with 9:13 left to culminate the run and make it 96-76.

San Antonio shot 61.8 percent in the first half while taking a 61-52 lead, but Miami crawled within 75-74 with just over three minutes left in the third quarter before the Spurs’ decisive spurt.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Green’s fourth 3-pointer with 9:40 left in the third quarter allowed him to surpass the NBA Finals record of 22 set by Allen when he played for the Boston Celtics in 2008. Green is 25-for-38 in the series. … Allen became the first player with two four-point plays in an NBA Finals game and was 4-for-4 from behind the arc. … Ginobili started for the first time all season and hit 8-of-14 shots after struggling in the first four games of the series.
