NETS 98, RAPTORS 84:
Backup Gerald Green tied his career high with 26 points and Kris Humphries had 16 points and a season-high 21 rebounds as New Jersey secured just its third home victory since Feb. 1.

Green, who had 26 points on Saturday, shot 9 of 13 from the field and outscored the Raptors’ bench by himself. Reserve Anthony Morrow added 15 points.

The Nets reserves held a huge 61-24 scoring advantage.

James Johnson had 16 points and Jerryd Bayless recorded 14 points and season-high 10 assists for Toronto. DeMar DeRozan scored 12 and Andrea Bargnani had 10, all in the first half. Leandro Barbosa added 11 off the bench.

New Jersey is just 5-15 at Prudential Center and had lost nine of its last 10 at home, but is 4 1/2 games from eighth place in the East.

The Nets (15-29) moved a half-game ahead of the Raptors (14-29) in the Atlantic Division and evened the overall series at 32-32.

Toronto scored 20 points off 11 New Jersey turnovers and led 42-33 before Morrow made a pair of 3-pointers and the Raptors led 46-41 at halftime.

Bayless surpassed his season high with eight assists in the first half alone.

Toronto shot 5 of 19 (26.3 percent) from the field in the third quarter while the Nets were 11 of 19 (57.9 percent) and took a 68-61 entering the fourth quarter.

The Nets were up by 10 most of the fourth quarter and Toronto appeared too tired to close the gap.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Williams sat out his third straight game with a strained right calf, but is still listed as day to day, the team said. Williams hurt his calf in the All-Star Game and has been bothered by it ever since. Coach Avery Johnson said he hopes to play Williams by this weekend, but won’t rush his return. ... Jose Calderon (ankle) missed his second straight game and there is no definite timetable on his return. He did shoot in pregame warmups and the Raptors list him as day to day. ... Toronto was 1 of 10 on 3-pointers.
