WARRIORS 85, HAWKS 82: David Lee's basket with 30.1 seconds remaining broke a tie and led visiting Golden State past slumping Atlanta.
The Warriors, who were routed 102-78 in Indiana on Tuesday, won despite playing the majority of the game without guard Stephen Curry, who has a strained tendon in his right foot. Curry was on the floor for three seconds on the possession that resulted in Lee's go-ahead basket.
Monta Ellis led the Warriors with 24 points while Lee added 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Atlanta has lost six of its last eight games.
Guard Joe Johnson returned after missing the last two games before the All-Star break with tendinitis in his left knee. He led the Hawks with 18 points.
Ellis' jumper with 1:42 remaining gave the Warriors a 78-74 lead, but Zaza Pachulia hit two free throws and scored on a rebound of a missed shot on Atlanta's next possession to tie the game with 52.4 seconds remaining.
Ellis had the ball knocked out of bounds with five seconds remaining on the shot clock and Golden State called timeout, inserting Curry in order to spread the floor. Lee then took the inbounds pass, drove past Josh Smith and floated a shot off the glass over Pachulia.
Free throws by Ellis and Nate Robinson sealed the win.
The Warriors trailed by 30 points in the third quarter Tuesday, but looked like a different team against the Hawks. The Warriors went ahead late in the first quarter and stretched the lead to 13 points with just over two minutes before halftime.
Jeff Teague scored 15 points for Atlanta.
The Warriors are on a six-game road trip that begin with a win in Phoenix in the final game before the All-Star break.
