ROCKETS 96, THUNDER 95: Kevin Martin tied a season high with 32 points, including the decisive free throws with 23 seconds to play, to lift the host Rockets.

Luis Scola and Chandler Parsons added 15 and 14 points, respectively, as Houston snapped a four-game losing streak against the Thunder and improved to 11-3 at home.

One night after failing to score for the first time in six years, Martin scored 15 of his 30 points in the third quarter but was scoreless in the fourth quarter until his two free throws gave Houston a 96-95 lead.

Kevin Durant scored 33 points but missed three potential go-ahead shots in the final 15 seconds for Oklahoma City. Russell Westbrook added 26 points for the Thunder.

Houston appeared it would enjoy an early knockout, racing to a 15-4 lead en route to a 29-13 edge after one quarter.

Oklahoma charged back with an 18-4 spurt early in the second quarter and cut the deficit to 45-44 at halftime.

The Rockets avoided a third straight defeat for the first time since a four-game skid from Jan. 3-7.

GAME NOTEBOOK: With the Thunder assured the best record by Wednesday's deadline, Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks will guide the Western Conference in the All-Star Game. Brooks was named the coach of the month in the West for December/January. ... Martin's doughnut on Tuesday in Memphis marked the first time in his career that he was shut out as a starter.
