Kyle Lowry scored 25 points, Samuel Dalembert had a season-high 21 points and 16 rebounds and Luis Scola had 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Houston Rockets pulled away from the visiting Sacramento Kings for a 103-89 victory Friday night.
Lowry also had nine assists and seven rebounds for Houston, which had lost five of six. Dalembert, in his first game against his former team since signing with the Rockets before the season, finished 9 of 11 and also blocked four shots.
Tyreke Evans led the Kings (4-8) with 27 points, but no other starter reached double figures. Isaiah Thomas scored 13, and Donte Greene and Francisco Garcia each scored 11. Sacramento was missing starting forward Marcus Thornton (thigh) for the third consecutive game.
Evans kept the Kings in the game by scoring 25 through three quarters on 11-of-18 shooting.
Houston opened the fourth on a 6-0 run to lead 87-72 with 10:38 remaining and the Kings never got closer than nine.
The Kings hired Hall of Famer Alex English as an assistant coach Friday.
