Orioles 11, Yankees 3: Chris Davis bashed his major league-leading 29th and 30th home runs and drove in five runs as host Baltimore crushed New York.

Ryan Flaherty added a three-run blast and Chris Dickerson drove in a pair for the Orioles, who have won three straight to move within 2 1/2 games of first-place Boston in the American League East. Zach Britton (2-2) allowed two runs - one earned - and six hits in 5 2/3 innings to log the easy win.

Baltimore knocked Yankees starter David Phelps (5-5) around for four runs in the first inning, getting an RBI single from Adam Jones before Davis ripped a 2-1 knuckle-curve out to left-center field for a three-run blast. The Orioles tacked on five more runs in the fifth, highlighted by Flaherty’s line drive over the wall in right.

Phelps was charged with nine runs on nine hits in 2 1/3 innings, marking the second time he has failed to complete at least three innings since moving into the starting rotation in May.

New York got on the board with a pair of runs in the sixth but Baltimore got those back in the bottom of the frame on Davis’ second blast, giving him five RBIs in a game for the third time this season. The Yankees have lost four straight.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Orioles expect to get 2B Brian Roberts off the disabled list on Sunday. He has played only three games this season. … Baltimore recalled RHP Jair Jurrjens and designated 1B Travis Ishikawa for assignment. Jurrjens worked 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief. … New York 2B Robinson Cano went 2-for-4 and has recorded multiple hits in back-to-back games for the first time this month.
