Rays 4, Indians 2:
Carlos Pena drilled a two-run homer to highlight a three-run first inning and rookie left-hander Matt Moore won his fourth straight home start for Tampa Bay.

Luke Scott added an RBI triple in the opening frame and Jose Lobaton had a run-scoring single for the Rays.

Jason Kipnis delivered an RBI single and Jose Lopez had a sacrifice fly for the Indians.

Moore (6-6) allowed two runs and three hits and left after issuing his fifth walk – to Carlos Santana leading off the sixth inning. He has won five of his last six starts – the only loss in his last outing at Cleveland on July 7 – and has a 2.16 ERA during his home winning streak.

Three relievers bridged the gap to Fernando Rodney, who completed the four-hitter by working around a hit batsman and a single in the ninth inning to earn his major league-leading 27th save in 28 chances.

Cleveland starter Josh Tomlin (5-6) had a two-start winning streak snapped. He allowed four runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings, one start after defeating Tampa Bay on July 5.

The Indians loaded the bases with no outs in the fourth inning but scored only once on Lopez’s sacrifice fly. Cleveland made it 3-2 when Kipnis ripped a two-out single past diving second baseman Ben Zobrist in the fifth.

The Rays restored their two-run lead in the sixth inning when Lobaton rolled a two-out grounder through the right side to score Desmond Jennings, who stole second base on a close play one pitch earlier.

B.J. Upton and Jeff Keppinger had two hits apiece for Tampa Bay.
