Carlos Gonzalez belted a solo homer and drove in four runs and rookie Charlie Blackmon went 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI singles as the Colorado Rockies breezed to a 13-6 home triumph over the Detroit Tigers on Friday.

Rookie Chris Nelson launched his first career homer - a three-run shot - to highlight a six-run second inning for Colorado, which secured its third straight victory.

Every position player in the Rockies' starting lineup had at least one hit and one run scored.

The offensive explosion was more than enough for Jason Hammel (4-6), who collected his first win since April 30. He allowed six runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Jhonny Peralta belted a grand slam for his second homer in as many days for Detroit, which fell back into a tie with the Cleveland Indians atop the American League Central. Cleveland posted a 5-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates earlier on Friday.

Rick Porcello (6-5) was rocked in his first appearance at Coors Field. He allowed nine runs on eight hits in three innings to fall to 5-2 in his career against the National League.
