Jordan Williams scored 26 points and Maryland ended a two-game losing streak with an 87-80 victory over visiting N.C. State on Sunday.
Williams hit his first eight shots and finished 10 of 12 from the field.
Terrell Stoglin had 25 points and Dino Gregory added 18 for Maryland (17-10, 6-6 ACC), which shot 58 percent. The Terrapins have won 18 of the last 23 meetings with the Wolfpack.
Maryland, which is on the NCAA Tournament bubble, broke open a tie game with a 12-1 run that gave them an 83-72 lead with 1:05 remaining.
Tracy Smith had 19 points and C.J. Leslie added 18 for the Wolfpack (14-12, 4-8), who had their modest two-game winning streak snapped.
