Sophomore forward E.J. Singler had 18 points and 17 rebounds Saturday as Oregon ran away from visiting Willamette in the second half en route to a 100-67 victory in one of its final games at McArthur Court.
Garrett Sim scored 15 points for the Ducks (6-3), who begin play at the new Matthew Knight Arena on Jan. 13. Joevan Catron and Teondre Williams each scored 13 for Oregon, while Jay-R Strowbridge and Malcolm Armstead added 10 points apiece.
Oregon led 51-31 at halftime after Willamette was in front 19-18 with 9:36 remaining in the half. The Ducks outrebounded the Bearcats 46-26.
Taylor Mounts had 23 points and nine rebounds, and Terrell Malley scored 15 points for Willamette (3-6), a Division III school from Salem, Ore.
Oregon held Willamette to 23-of-59 (39 percent) shooting from the field, and the Bearcats made 5 of 23 (21.7 percent) of their 3-pointers.
