Trail Blazers 105, Grizzlies 98: LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 points as host Portland held on to win its third straight game.

Mo Williams came off the bench to collect 17 points and Wesley Matthews added 15 for the Blazers, who shot 52 percent from the field. Robin Lopez chipped in nine points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots as Portland ended a five-game losing streak in the series and pulled within 2 1/2 games of idle Houston for fourth place in the Western Conference.

Zach Randolph scored 21 points and Marc Gasol had 20 as Memphis lost its second straight and fell a half-game out of a playoff spot in the West. Mike Conley finished with 16 points, nine assists and three steals.

It was a 16-point Blazers lead entering the fourth and Williams opened the scoring with a 3-pointer before finding Nicolas Batum for a dunk and a 91-70 advantage. Memphis crawled to within 10 points with three minutes to go, but Aldridge scored on a hook shot to give the Blazers enough to survive another Grizzlies push in the final two minutes.

Lopez's three-point play early in the second quarter ignited a 24-9 burst and Portland carried a 12-point lead into halftime after shooting 57.9 percent before the break. Courtney Lee had a basket for Memphis seconds into the third before Aldridge scored twice and Damian Lillard nailed a 3-pointer to highlight an 11-4 surge that made it 68-51.
