Wizards 100, Trail Blazers 90: John Wall scored 22 points as host Washington beat a Western Conference power for the second straight game.

Trevor Ariza added 20 points for the Wizards, who upended the high-octane Trail Blazers two nights after disposing of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kevin Seraphin added a season-high 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting in a reserve role.

Damian Lillard's 25 points paced Portland, which was done in by a 5-for-19 performance from beyond the arc. LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points and 10 rebounds while Nicolas Batum poured in 18 points.

Wall's 13 points and a half-ending 9-0 run propelled the Wizards to a 56-55 advantage entering the break. Ariza took over in the second half, converting a three-point play and knocking down a 3-pointer less than a minute and a half later to help Washington carry an 82-69 lead into the fourth.

The bulge grew to 17 before the Trail Blazers rallied, making it a single-digit deficit on Mo Williams' running layup with 7:09 remaining. Bradley Beal's 17-foot pullup jumper quelled the Portland threat with 3:42 left, and Nene added a jumper from nearly the same spot in the final minute to put the game away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After holding the Thunder to 24 points below their season scoring average, Washington limited Portland to 18 below its season mark. ... The Wizards committed a season-low six turnovers. ... Trail Blazers C Robin Lopez added 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks in defeat.
