Brian Anderson raced home on Yadiel Rivera's slow roller in the infield in the bottom of the 10th inning Monday night, giving the Miami Marlins a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on the first night of a three-game interleague series in Miami.

Two strikes from a 2-1 defeat, the Rays rallied to tie the game in the top of the ninth on an RBI double by C.J. Cron, scoring Daniel Robertson, who had led off the inning with a single off Marlins closer Kyle Barraclough.

The blown save was Barraclough's first since April.

But the Marlins pulled out the win an inning later, after Anderson led off with a walk off the Rays' fourth pitcher, Ryne Stanek (1-2).

J.T. Realmuto followed with a single that sent Anderson to third, from where he scored on Rivera's walk-off infield hit to third base.

Drew Rucinski (3-1), who pitched a scoreless top of the 10th, was credited with the win.

Realmuto hit a tie-breaking home run in the fifth inning, and left-hander Wei-Yin Chen allowed just one unearned run in six innings, sending the Marlins into the late innings with a 2-1 lead they retained until two outs in the ninth.

Chen was pulled after six innings despite having allowed just three hits. He struck out five and did not walk a batter.

Neither he nor Tampa Bay starter Nathan Eovaldi got a decision. The Rays' right-hander allowed just two runs and eight hits in six innings. He walked one and struck out five.

After the Florida rivals had traded single runs, Eovaldi got the first two outs in the fifth inning before Realmuto teed off on his 11th home run of the season to left field.

Miguel Rojas drove in the Marlins' first run with a two-out double that plated Starlin Castro, who had singled, in the second inning.

The Rays tied it in the fourth when Robertson reached second on a two-base error by second baseman Castro, took third on an infield out and scored on Adeiny Hechavarria's sacrifice fly.

Castro went 4-for-4 and Rojas added three hits, including a double, for the Marlins, who improved to 4-4 both in interleague play and on their current 10-game homestand.

Cron collected three hits for the Rays, who were opening a six-game trip after an impressive homestand on which they won eight of nine from the New York Yankees, Washington Nationals and Houston Astros.

The Rays fell to 2-8 in interleague play this season. It was their first matchup of the year with the Marlins after having won last year's series 3-1.

Miami out-hit Tampa Bay 12-6.
