Blue Jays 2, Twins 0: Esmil Rogers tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings to outduel Andrew Albers as visiting Toronto handed Minnesota its 10th straight home loss.

Rogers (5-7) scattered three hits while striking out four in the win, which wrapped up a 5-1 Blue Jays road trip. Two relievers bridged the gap to Casey Janssen, who worked the ninth to secure his 29th save.

Jared Burton (2-9) surrendered the go-ahead runs in the eighth in relief of Albers, who limited Toronto to four hits over seven scoreless frames.

After both starters posted zeroes over the first seven innings, Toronto broke through in the eighth. Jose Reyes hit a double to the right-center-field gap to score Ryan Goins, then promptly stole third and came home on Rajai Davis' single to right-center

Toronto had the best early scoring chance with runners at first and third with one out in the third inning, but Davis flied out in foul territory and Brett Lawrie lined out to center to end the threat. Minnesota nearly hit the scoresheet in the sixth, but Pedro Florimon was thrown out at home on Chris Herrmann's groundout.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto took five of six from Minnesota this year and has won every season series since 2006. ... Goins finished 2-for-3 for his first multi-hit game since Aug. 28. ... The Twins' home losing skid is the longest since May, 2011.
