Rangers 7, Rays 2: Colby Lewis allowed one run in six innings and Adrian Beltre hit a three-run homer as host Texas snapped Tampa Bay’s six-game winning streak.

Lewis (3-0) gave up three hits, three walks and struck out five in lowering his ERA to 1.93. The veteran right-hander is 4-0 in his last five starts against Tampa Bay.

Josh Hamilton drove in the first two runs for Texas with a single in the first, giving him a league-leading 24 RBIs.

The Rangers scored four times in the seventh, highlighted by Beltre's fourth homer. Tampa manager Joe Maddon decided to intentionally walk Hamilton with first base open and Beltre hit the next pitch into the right-field stands.
