Adam Larsson recorded the tiebreaking goal near the midway point of the first period and Chris Driedger made 36 saves as the visiting Seattle Kraken beat the Los Angeles Kings 6-1 on Monday night.

Two nights after Seattle fell 4-2 at Los Angeles, the Kraken scored 14 seconds into the contest through Alex Wennberg and wound up with 14 players recording at least one point.

With the game tied 1-1, Larsson netted his sixth of the season. Then Victor Rask, Jordan Eberle, Jared McCann and Daniel Sprong followed with goals to help the Kraken earn their third victory in four games.

Driedger, making his first start since March 10, was solid all night against a Los Angeles club that is in playoff position and totaled 13 goals while going 2-0-1 in its previous three contests. Arthur Kaliyev scored for the Kings, who lost for the first time in three meetings with the Kraken.

After stopping 23 of 25 shots vs. Seattle on Saturday, Kings goalie Cal Petersen was roughed up while making 32 saves.

Los Angeles' Todd McLellan coached his 1,000th NHL game.

In the opening seconds of the contest, on a rebound of Ryan Donato's attempt, Wennberg found a soft spot in the slot to open the scoring.

The Kings leveled things 5:23 into the first period. On a power play, Adrian Kempe faked a shot, then perfectly placed the puck on the stick of Kaliyev, who blew it past Driedger.

Seattle retook the lead for good courtesy of Larsson at 8:24 of the opening period. Larsson's shot from the top right side of the near circle got past a stunned Petersen.

The Kraken made it 3-1 at 13:55 of the second when Rask benefited from a three-on-two.

Eberle put the game away at the 7:05 mark of the third off a breakaway to give Seattle a 4-1 edge. Just 29 seconds later, McCann added his team-high 24th goal. Sprong's third goal in three games, at 12:13, completed the second-highest scoring game in the Kraken's inaugural season.
