Missouri ended the 2015 portion of its schedule on a high note, routing Arkansas-Pine Bluff 78-25 Tuesday night in Columbia, Mo.
It was the biggest margin of victory in Kim Anderson's two seasons as Missouri's coach.
Missouri (6-6) pushed around the Golden Lions (2-12) on the glass, outrebounding UAPB 56-30.
The Tigers were led by forwards Jakeenan Gant and Russell Woods, who grabbed 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively. Woods became the first Missouri player to break into double-figures in rebounding against Illinois a week ago; on Tuesday, both Woods and Gant passed that mark with over 13 minutes left against UAPB.
Forward Thaddeus Handley scored a team-high eight points for the Golden Lions, who shot 15.4 percent from the floor.
Missouri went on a 24-1 run in the first half to take a 39-12 lead into halftime. The Tigers held UAPB without a field goal for nearly 10 minutes until a 3-point field goal by Ghiavonni Robinson with under a minute to go ended the drought.
UAPB went on a 5-0 run to start the second half but would get no closer than a 22-point deficit.
