Texas A&M 80, Auburn 55: Jalen Jones led a balanced offense with 19 points to go along with seven rebounds as the Aggies rolled over the visiting Tigers in an SEC contest.

Danuel House contributed 15 points and Alex Caruso went 4-of-4 from 3-point range en route to 14 as Texas A&M (20-8, 11-5 SEC) won for the fourth time in five games. Kourtney Roberson collected 12 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double in four games as the Aggies improved to 13-2 at home.

KT Harrell finished with 18 points while Cinmeon Bowers and K.C. Ross-Miller each scored nine for Auburn (12-17, 4-12), which lost its fourth straight. Tigers second-leading scorer Antoine Mason left the team to deal with the death of his father, former NBA standout Anthony Mason, who passed away Saturday morning.

Texas A&M slowly increased its advantage in the first half and led by as many as 11 after a Caruso 3-pointer with 2:40 left before settling for a 36-28 edge at intermission. The Aggies shot only 37.5 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, but they had a 28-16 edge on the boards and Jones registered 15 points.

Caruso opened the second half with a 3-pointer and Texas A&M pushed the lead to 53-36 after Antwan Space’s three-point play with 10:14 remaining. Auburn never threatened after that and House drained two straight 3-pointers to increase the lead to 69-44 with under five minutes to go as the Aggies pulled away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Texas A&M held a moment of silence before the game for Mason, who died at 48 of complications from a heart attack he suffered earlier this month. … Harrell extended his streak of games with at least one 3-pointer to 25. … The Aggies secured a 20-win season for the 14th time in the program’s history and the first since 2010-11.
