No. 22 Oklahoma State 62, Missouri State 42: Markel Brown scored 15 points and Le'Bryan Nash added 10 as the Cowboys jumped out early and coasted past the visiting Bears.

Mike Cobbins collected 10 points and eight rebounds off the bench for Oklahoma State (7-1), which dominated the glass 45-22 in improving to 4-0 at home.

Keith Pickens connected on the first field-goal attempt of the game to give Missouri State a 2-1 lead, its only edge of the afternoon. The Bears missed their next eight shots as the Cowboys got 3-pointers from Brown and Phil Forte in a 13-0 burst.

Missouri State shot just 21.4 percent in the first half and the Cowboys took a 34-13 lead into the locker room. The Bears scored the first 10 points of the second half but Oklahoma State never let the lead slip to single digits and pushed it back out to 53-31 on Cobbins’ jumper with 8:10 left.

Christian Kirk and Anthony Downing each scored eight points for Missouri State (2-7), which failed to put a player in double figures.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Cowboys went 4-for-23 from 3-point range. … The Bears have dropped five in a row overall and have yet to beat a Division I opponent. Saturday marked the third time they had been held below 45 points. … Oklahoma State will play its next four games at home to close out the non-conference slate, capped off by a visit from No. 10 Gonzaga on Dec. 31.
