Leading 10-8 with 13:52 left in the opening half, Indiana (6-0) went on an 18-5 run that was started on a jumper by Cody Zeller, who finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. The run was capped by a dunk from Zeller and the rout was on. Indiana led 51-19 at halftime.
Sheehey converted 8 of 9 from the field as the Hoosiers shot 60.3 percent in the contest. Jordan Hulls tallied 17 for the Hoosiers while Victor Oladipo added 13.
Christian Watford contributed a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds as Indiana held a 41-23 edge on the boards.
Majok Majok led the Cardinals (2-2) with 18 points and Jauwan Scaife added 11 before fouling out.
