RJ Barrett scored 31 points, including five in overtime, and had nine rebounds as the Toronto Raptors defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings 131-128 on Saturday night.

Hall of Famer Vince Carter had his No. 15 retired by the Raptors in a halftime ceremony.

Chris Boucher added a season-best 24 points for the Raptors, who ended a four-game losing streak. Ochai Agbaji and Gradey Dick each scored 22 points, and Jakob Poeltl had 13 points and nine rebounds before fouling out late.

Domantas Sabonis had 17 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists for the Kings, who had a three-game winning streak end. DeMar DeRozan scored a season-best 33 points, De'Aaron Fox scored 24 points and Keegan Murray added 16 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out. Malik Monk scored a season-best 21 points off the bench.

Toronto scored the first four points of overtime before DeRozan completed a three-point play. Barrett was fouled while scoring on a layup after a steal by Dick and converted the free throw to give Toronto a four-point lead. DeRozan hit a 3-pointer, but Dick hit a jumper for a three-point lead. Fox missed a 3-pointer with two seconds left.

The Raptors led 37-29 after a first quarter that featured 16 lead changes, and they led 66-63 at halftime.

Keon Ellis hit a 3-pointer to bring Sacramento to within two points with 2:14 left in the third quarter, but Boucher's six straight points had Toronto up 96-86 after three quarters.

Sacramento rode a 12-0 run to creep to within one point with 2:58 left in the fourth quarter. Dick hit a 3-pointer with 1:47 left and Toronto led by four. DeRozan answered by making two free throws. Barrett made a 3-pointer before DeRozan answered with four straight points to cut the lead to one with 19 seconds left. After Barrett missed one of two free throws, Sabonis tied the game at 120 on a tip-in with three seconds left to force overtime.

Toronto was without Scottie Barnes (orbital fracture), Immanuel Quickley (pelvic contusion), Bruce Brown (knee) and Kelly Olynyk (back). Sacramento's Kevin Huerter (illness) also did not play.
