Landry Shamet made four 3-pointers in the first eight minutes Sunday afternoon as the Los Angeles Clippers scored 26 of the game's first 36 points en route to a 128-107 crushing of the visiting New York Knicks.

Shamet finished with 21 points, all on 3-pointers, and Danilo Gallinari added 20 for the Clippers, who were beginning a stretch of eight consecutive games at the Staples Center.

The Clippers will be listed as the visiting team on Monday night when they return to their home floor on the second night of a back-to-back to face the rival Lakers.

Noah Vonleh (17 points, 12 rebounds) and Mitchell Robinson (16 points, 13 rebounds) recorded double-doubles for the Knicks, who likewise were playing the opener of a back-to-back sequence.

New York continues a three-game trip at Sacramento on Monday.

Shamet had 12 points and Gallinari nine, including a 3-pointer of his own, in the 26-10, game-opening run that propelled the Clippers' to their fourth-biggest margin of victory this season.

With Shamet connecting on six 3-pointers in the first quarter alone, Los Angeles went on to lead by as many as 20 points later in the first period and 38 in the second before coasting to the fifth win in its last seven games.

Shamet had all 21 of his points and Gallinari 15 of his 20 in the first half, during which the Clippers built an 82-46 lead.

The Knicks "won" the second half, outscoring the Clippers 61-46, including 32-19 in the third period. Nonetheless, they recorded their 11th loss of 20 or more points this season.

Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell chipped in with 18 points apiece off the bench for the Clippers, who were coming off a 116-109 win at Sacramento on Friday.

JaMychal Green (16 points) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (15) also scored in double figures for Los Angeles, while Ivica Zubac with 11 and Patrick Beverley with 10 were the team's high rebounders.

Damyean Dotson finished with 17 points, while Emmanuel Mudiay and Allonzo Trier had 16 apiece for the Knicks, who will get a rematch with the Clippers at home on March 24.

The Clippers outshot the Knicks 49.0 percent to 39.8.
