Hassan Whiteside notched his 14th double-double of the season Wednesday night, finishing with 27 points and 13 rebounds in the Miami Heat's 106-101 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Whiteside hit 10 of 12 shots from the floor and connected on 7 of 9 attempts from the free throw line while blocking six shots, as the Heat won for the ninth time in their last 11 games after having a seven-game win streak snapped by the Chicago Bulls on Monday.

Miami also got 15 from Goran Dragic and Kelly Olynyk. Josh Richardson chipped in with 14 for Miami, which hit 10 of 24 3-pointers and shot 46.3 percent overall.

Khris Middleton led Milwaukee with 25 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 22 and Tony Snell had 12 off the bench for the Bucks, who shot 43.4 percent and went 24-for-32 from the line.

Whiteside hit all three of his shots and scored 10 as the Heat led by as many as 12 and held a 30-25 lead at the end of the opening quarter.

But with Whiteside and Johnson on the bench to start the second, the Bucks took advantage of the opportunity, outscoring Miami, 16-9, to open the quarter and lead, 41-39, after a John Henson layup with 7:14 left in the half.

Ellington's 3-pointer put Miami back in front before the Bucks, paced by 12 off the bench from Snell, took a 57-52 lead into halftime.

Miami drew within a point to open the fourth and it was all tied up at 90 with 4:50 to play. Miami pulled ahead by five when Justise Winslow fed Whiteside for an alley-oop dunk, then, after Whiteside blocked Antetokounmpo at the rim, knocked down a 3-pointer with 3:11 to play.

Middleton came up empty on a 3-point attempt that would have brought Milwaukee back within a possession and Johnson struck again, this time from the free throw line, where he sank a pair to make it a 100-93 contest with 2:34 remaining.

The Bucks cut the deficit to four in the final seconds but couldn't close the gap and fell to Miami for the second time in four days.
