Rookie Shabazz Napier scored 12 points off the bench for Miami, which was without guards Dwyane Wade and Norris Cole because of injuries. Shawne Williams scored 10 points for the Heat, who won for only the second time in six games.
Nikola Vucevic racked up a career-high 33 points and 17 rebounds to lead Orlando, which lost for only the third time in seven contests. Victor Oladipo scored 14 points and Evan Fournier added 11 for the Magic.
Orlando pulled even at 77 on a pair of Vucevic free throws with 7:34 remaining before Bosh scored nine points during a 14-4 run to begin pulling away. Rookie Elfrid Payton's floater brought the Magic within 96-92 with 30.7 seconds left, but Orlando turned it over on its next possession and the Heat sealed it at the line.
Miami led 49-46 at halftime behind 14 points from Bosh, and Chalmers hit a jumper coming out of the locker room before Orlando scored five straight to pull even. The Magic moved ahead 73-70 after a pair of Channing Frye free throws with 9:34 left, but Bosh hit a mid-range jumper and a 3-pointer to regain the lead and the Heat didn't trail again.
