76ers 97, Knicks 80: Jrue Holiday, playing for the first time since he was named an All-Star, scored a career-high 35 points and host Philadelphia never trailed in demolishing New York.

Evan Turner and Nick Young added 20 apiece as the Sixers avenged a pair of blowout losses to the Knicks in November to win for only the third time in 11 games.

Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points and Amar'e Stoudemire added a season-high 20 for New York, which trailed by a dozen at halftime before getting blown off the court in the third period. Sixth man J.R. Smith was scoreless for the first time this season for the Knicks.

Young, making his first start since Dec. 18, scored 10 points in a 12-2 spurt in the third quarter to help Philadelphia build a 22-point lead. The Sixers extended it to 29 as Young and Holiday combined for 26 of the team's 31 third-quarter points.

New York showed a faint pulse in the opening moments of the fourth quarter, ripping off a 9-1 spurt to cut the deficit to 18, but Turner buried a 3-pointer and Philadelphia pulled away again.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Sixers coach Doug Collins went to the locker room in the third period to be examined by team doctors.He was diagnosed with a blocked nasal passage and a sinus infection and has been listed as day-to-day. ... Anthony extended his streak of 20-point games to 28 in a row, tying Patrick Ewing for the second-longest streak in franchise history. Richie Guerin (29 games) holds the record. ... Knicks PG Raymond Felton returned from a 12-game absence and had eight points and three assists in 22 minutes.
