76ERS 107, NETS 88: Reserves Lou Williams, Spencer Hawes and Thaddeus Young combined for 58 points as visiting Philadelphia ended a four-game losing streak.
Williams had 20 points and eight rebounds, while Hawes and Young each contributed 19 points and eight rebounds as the 76ers won for only the second time in seven games.
Kris Humphries had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Deron Williams scored 14 points for New Jersey, which had won its previous two games.
Philadelphia had a 53-36 rebounding edge while winning for only the fourth time in its last 15 road games. The 76ers took a one-game lead over the Knicks for seventh place in the Eastern Conference after New York lost 98-86 at Chicago on Tuesday.
The 76ers led by only one point midway through the second quarter before they began to pull way. A last-second 3-pointer by Williams gave the 76ers a 52-43 halftime lead and Philadelphia increased the advantage to 18 late in the third quarter.
Elton Brand’s three-point play with 8:17 to play gave the 76ers a 93-70 advantage.
Jrue Holiday tallied 14 points and Andre Iguodala added 13 for the 76ers.
Johan Petro added 12 points for New Jersey, which shot only 38.6 percent from the field.
