Giants 6, Dodgers 4: Pablo Sandoval homered and Tony Abreu drove in a career-high four runs as host San Francisco snapped Los Angeles’ three-game win streak.

Barry Zito (5-11) recorded his first victory since May 30 while yielding two runs (one earned) on four hits over five frames, and three relievers bridged the gap to Sergio Romo, who worked a scoreless ninth inning for his 37th save.

Abreu gave the Giants an early lead with a three-run triple in the second off Ricky Nolasco (13-11), who surrendered six runs with seven strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings. After going 7-0 with a 1.59 ERA over a stretch of eight starts, Nolasco has surrendered 17 earned runs over his last three outings.

The Dodgers scored two times in the fourth before Sandoval hit a two-run shot in the bottom half for his first homer since Sept. 4, when he had three blasts against San Diego. Matt Kemp, who finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs, cut the deficit to 5-3 in the sixth when he scored on A.J. Ellis’ sacrifice fly.

Zito, who was likely making his final start for the Giants after going 63-80 during his seven seasons with the team, was quietly replaced by George Kontos at the start of the sixth inning. Abreu, who homered in Tuesday’s series opener, doubled in a run in the sixth to put the Giants ahead 6-3.

Kemp delivered an RBI single off Santiago Casilla in the eighth and the Dodgers brought the tying run to the plate in the ninth before Romo retired pinch hitter Hanley Ramirez on a sharp ground ball to third to end the game.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Giants won for the 23rd time in their last 29 games when scoring at least four runs. … Dodgers OF Andre Ethier, who has been out since Sept. 13 with an injured left ankle, was sent back to Los Angeles for further tests Wednesday. … Kemp is 11-for-28 with three doubles and a home run in nine games since being activated from the disabled list.
