Carlos Pena had two hits and drove in four runs as the Tampa Bay Rays rolled to a 10-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Thursday.

Carl Crawford and Pat Burrel each drove in two runs as the Rays won for the ninth time in 10 tries.

James Shields (2-0) won his second straight start, giving up two runs on six hits in seven innings.

Chicago led 2-0 after scoring in the first and second innings before the Rays scored three in the third, four in the fifth and three in the eighth.

Jake Peavy (0-1) has yet to win in his four starts as the the right-hander allowed seven runs and seven hits, walked seven and struck out five in 4 1/3 innings.
