Kevin Young led four Jayhawks in double figures with 14 points as Kansas pulled away from the host Red Raiders in the second half.

Young went 7-of-9 from the floor while Jeff Withey and Travis Releford each added 12 points for the Jayhawks (14-1, 2-0 Big 12).

Jamal Williams, Jr. led the Red Raiders (8-6, 1-2) with 11 points. Dejan Kravic added nine points and eight rebounds.

The Jayhawks, who have won 13 straight, led 27-25 at halftime and opened the second half with 14-3 run. Young had six points during the seven-minute stretch while Texas Tech was held to one field goal.

Texas Tech did not allow a field goal over the final 11:14 of the first half, but could only outscore Kansas by three points over that time as the Jayhawks drained 12 of their 14 foul shots. Williams hit three free throws with five seconds left to cut the lead to two.
