Ole Miss 62, Florida 61: Stefan Moody scored 18 points and drained a straightaway 3-point shot with 2.7 seconds remaining to lift the Rebels past the Gators in SEC play.

Moody arched his shot over a defender to give Ole Miss (17-7, 8-3 SEC) its sixth straight victory and its first season sweep of the Gators since 1990. LaDarius White scored 16 points and Dwight Coleby contributed 11 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots.

Dorian Finney-Smith and Devin Robinson scored 14 points apiece for Florida (12-12, 5-6), which has lost six of its last eight games. The Gators shot just 37.7 percent from the field and were without leading scorer Michael Frazier II (ankle).

Robinson drained a tiebreaking 3-pointer and followed with a dunk to give Florida a 54-49 edge with 7:58 left, and after the Rebels inched ahead by one, Chris Chiozza’s driving hoop put the Gators on top 56-55 with 5:18 to play. Finney-Smith knocked down a 3-pointer to give Florida a four-point lead with 2:58 to play but the Gators didn’t score again and Coleby’s basket pulled the Rebels within two prior to Moody’s decisive shot.

Florida led by as many as seven points in the first half before settling for a 38-33 lead at the break. Ole Miss started strong in the second half and took a 44-43 lead on a tip-in by Sebastian Saiz with 16:06 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Frazier injured his right ankle in last Saturday’s loss to Kentucky and was sporting a boot on the bench. … Rebels PG Jarvis Summers had seven assists but scored just two points on 1-of-7 shooting. … Moody made four of Ole Miss’ six 3-pointers.
