LSU 79, Vanderbilt 75 (OT): Jordan Mickey recorded 25 points and 11 rebounds while Tim Quarterman scored six crucial points in overtime as the visiting Tigers downed the Commodores for the fourth straight time.

Jarell Martin added 19 points and 12 rebounds, but committed eight turnovers for LSU (15-4, 4-2 SEC), which overcame a 13-of-23 performance from the foul line. Keith Hornsby tallied 11 points and Jalyn Patterson had 10 off the bench for the Tigers, who improved to 3-1 in overtime.

Luke Kornet collected 22 points and six rebounds in a reserve role for Vanderbilt (11-8, 1-5), which has dropped five straight games. Wade Baldwin IV went 4-of-4 from beyond the arc en route to a career-high 18 points while Damian Jones had 13 for the Commodores.

Jones' thunderous dunk gave Vanderbilt a 69-66 lead before Mickey split a pair of free throws with 1:07 left in regulation to even the score, and Quarterman and Riley LaChance missed potential game-winning jumpers in the last 10 seconds. Quarterman scored four straight points to put LSU in front 77-73, but missed two free throws with 19 seconds left in overtime to give the Commodores an opportunity to tie the game but Shelton Mitchell's jumper missed the mark and Martin made two free throws to preserve the victory.

Baldwin knocked down two 3-pointers as part of a 9-2 run as Vanderbilt jumped ahead 31-25 and Kornet led all scorers with 16 points in the first half to give the Commodores a 35-30 lead at intermission. Baldwin buried a 3-pointer, threw down a dunk and sank two free throws in a 90-second span to put Vanderbilt on top 44-36 before Patterson later nailed two straight 3-pointers to knot the score at 59.

GAME NOTEBOOK: LSU went 6-of-15 from 3-point range while Vanderbilt finished 7-of-23. … Mickey is the SEC's active leader in double-doubles with 20. … Baldwin, Kornet and Jones combined to go 20-of-30 from the field.
