Jalen Jones contributed 18 points and nine rebounds for Texas A&M (11-5, 2-2 SEC), which trailed by as many as 13 in the second half. Kourtney Roberson added seven points and eight rebounds for the Aggies, who scored the game’s final six points to win at LSU for only the second time in school history and first time since 1941.

Jordan Mickey recorded 17 points, eight rebounds and matched a career high with seven blocks to lead the Tigers (13-4, 2-2). Freshman Jalyn Patterson poured in 13 points while Jarell Martin scored 12 and grabbed eight rebounds for LSU, which lost for the first time in 10 home games this season.

Texas A&M led 9-2 early before LSU ran off 14 straight points – eight by Martin – and led by as many as 11 before settling for a 40-32 edge at intermission. Jones scored six during a 10-2 run early in the second half to bring the Aggies within five and Peyton Allen’s 3-pointer cut the deficit to 58-54 with 8:24 to go.

House drained a 3-pointer to pull Texas A&M within 62-61 and Alex Caruso scored in the lane with 1:39 left to answer a Keith Hornsby basket. House made a step-back jumper from above the foul line for a 65-64 lead, made a steal and two free throws with eight seconds to go while Hornsby missed a 3-pointer on the other end that could have tied it.
