No. 15 Cincinnati 70, Rutgers 66: Sean Kilpatrick's 24 points helped the visiting Bearcats fend off the Scarlet Knights and earn a share of the American Athletic Conference regular-season title.

Kilpatrick celebrated his final regular-season collegiate game in style, knocking down four 3-pointers and scoring Cincinnati's final five points as the Bearcats (26-5, 15-3 AAC) survived a spirited Rutgers rally. Justin Jackson added 10 points and 11 rebounds while Kevin Johnson had eight points off the bench.

J.J. Moore's 19 points paced the Scarlet Knights (11-20, 5-13), who dropped 11 of their last 14 games. Kadeem Jack had 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Myles Mack chipped in with 10 points and nine assists.

After Cincinnati watched its double-digit advantage disappear on a pair of Moore free throws with 9:06 remaining, the teams exchanged leads until the final two minutes. Jackson put the Bearcats ahead for good with a layup after his initial attempt was blocked, Kilpatrick converted a three-point play with 1:08 remaining and added the decisive layup after Kerwin Oworo had made it a two-point game with 50 seconds left.

Cincinnati fell behind by as many as eight points in the early going before storming back with a 14-2 run highlighted by a Troy Caupain 3-pointer and a Shaquille Thomas dunk on consecutive possessions. Oworo's 3-pointer made it a one-possession game with 4:25 remaining in the half, but Kilpatrick answered with a layup as part of a three-point play and knocked down a 3-pointer on the next trip down the floor as Cincinnati entered the break with a 35-28 lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bearcats earned a share of a conference title for the first time since 1993-94. Louisville earned a split of the AAC title with a victory over Connecticut. ...
