Al Horford and Josh Smith combined for 43 points and 25 rebounds Wednesday as the Atlanta Hawks won their ninth straight home game, a 103-93 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
Mike Bibby scored all 15 of his points in the second half for the Hawks, who hit the road for a four-game Western Conference swing against Oklahoma City, Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento and Utah.
Horford finished with 21 points and 15 boards and Smith added 22 and 10. Horford had 53 points and 26 rebounds and Smith had 43 and 26 in two games vs. the Warriors last season.
Dorell Wright scored a season-high 32 points for the Warriors, who had their season-high three-game winning streak snapped. Wright entered having scored 63 points while shooting 12-of-16 from the arc over his last three games.
Warriors guards Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry struggled, shooting a combined 8-of-26 for 21 points.
Smith scored 10 points in the first quarter and Horford added nine in the first half Atlanta shot 53.4 percent en route to a 52-47 halftime lead.
Joe Johnson and Bibby combined for three consecutive 3-pointers and a 61-49 lead early in the third period. The Warriors cut the deficit to four points before a 7-2 spurt provided Atlanta a 78-69 lead entering the fourth.
Horford slammed home a dunk and Smith added a 3-pointer midway through the fourth to open an 11-point lead.
