Lamar Jackson threw for 323 yards and a touchdown as the Baltimore Ravens earned a 30-23 victory Sunday over the Washington Commanders and rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Ravens running back Derrick Henry had 132 yards on 24 carries with two touchdowns while becoming the first player to rush for a touchdown in each of his first six games since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2005.
Jackson was 20-of-26 passing with an interception and added 40 yards rushing on 11 carries.
Jackson improved to 22-3 against NFC teams and is 7-0 against starting rookie quarterbacks. He also moved past Cam Newton for second place on the all-time quarterback rushing list behind Michael Vick at 5,661 yards. Vick leads with 6,109 yards.
Daniels was 24-of-35 passing for 269 yards and two touchdowns, while also leading the Commanders with 22 rushing yards on six attempts.
Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers caught nine passes for a career-high 132 yards. It was the second straight week Flowers had more than 100 yards receiving.
Henry's second touchdown of the game was a 7-yard run gave the Ravens a 27-13 lead with 2:08 left in the third quarter. Washington responded with a 12-play, 70-yard drive that ended on a 6-yard pass from Daniels to Terry McLaurin on fourth-and-goal, cutting the deficit to 27-20.
Justin Tucker and Austin Seibert traded field goals as the Ravens led 30-23 with 2:48 left. A 27-yard run by Henry before the two-minute warning sealed the win for Baltimore.
The Commanders were playing without leading rusher Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) and were held to 52 yards rushing on 18 carries.
Commanders cornerback Mike Sainristil had the team's first interception of the season on the Ravens' first drive. The turnover set up a 42-yard field goal by Seibert as Washington led 3-0.
Baltimore took its first lead at 10-3 on a 3-yard touchdown run by Henry with 7:55 left in the second quarter. The Commanders tied the game on the ensuing possession with a 7-yard touchdown pass from Daniels to McLaurin.
The Ravens retook the lead 17-10 when Jackson found Mark Andrews for a 13-yard touchdown with less than a minute remaining before halftime. It was Andrews' 41st career TD reception, tying Todd Heap for the most in franchise history.
