After a frustrating collapse in its previous game, Arizona State had no problems closing out a 97-64 rout of Washington on Tuesday night in Tempe, Ariz.
The senior trio of Remy Martin, Kimani Lawrence and Alonzo Verge Jr. once again paced the Sun Devils (8-11, 5-8 Pac-12), who snapped a two-game skid and produced their highest point total of the season in a conference game.
Martin totaled 26 points on 8-of-15 shooting and recorded his sixth consecutive game of 20 or more points. He also had six assists and four rebounds.
Lawrence notched his first career double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds and shot an efficient 9-for-11 from the field.
Verge totaled 16 points on 7-of-14 shooting to go along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Three days after leading for all but the final 1.4 seconds in a one-point loss to UCLA, the Sun Devils used a 38-6 run over a span of 12:50 midway through the Tuesday game to open up a 68-31 lead.
The Sun Devils totaled 12 steals, which led to several fastbreak opportunities during their huge run.
Arizona State thrived on both ends despite playing again without injured freshmen Marcus Bagley and Josh Christopher.
The Huskies (5-18, 4-14) had won two of their previous three games. They struggled shooting (36.9 percent overall) and protecting the ball (16 turnovers) in the first of back-to-back games against Arizona State this week. The teams are set to meet again on Thursday in Tempe.
Marcus Tsohonis led Washington with 16 points and six rebounds, and Jamal Bey totaled 12 points after making all three of his 3-point attempts.
Washington's leading scorer, Quade Green (14.9 points per game), was held to nine points and fouled out with 10:04 left in the second half after picking up a technical foul.
