Klay Thompson bombed in an NBA season-high 12 3-pointers en route to 42 points, Jordan Poole aided the cause with a career-best 12 assists and the Golden State Warriors didn't miss Stephen Curry's offense in a 141-114 triumph over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night in San Francisco.

Thompson shot 12-for-16 from beyond the arc, becoming just the second player in NBA history with 12 or more threes in multiple games. Thompson holds the NBA record for 3-pointers in a game with 14.

Curry, who suffered ligament damage in his left knee in Golden State's win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, is the only other player with 12 or more threes on more than one occasion. He sank 13 in one game and 12 in the other.

Thompson's dozen were the most in an NBA game since Zach LaVine connected for 13 in November 2019.

The 42 points were Thompson's second most this season and equaled the ninth most of his career. He had 54 against the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 2.

Thompson's 12 threes contributed to Golden State's team total of 26 in 50 attempts. The Warriors outscored the Thunder 78-33 from deep in the win, which was their second in a row.

Poole finished with 21 points to go with his 12 assists, which were one more than his previous career high, set last April against the Lakers.

Andrew Wiggins added 18 points, Donte DiVincenzo 14 and JaMychal Green 12 for the Warriors, who beat the Thunder for the second time in eight days.

All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 20 points and Aaron Wiggins scored 19 for Oklahoma City, which lost for the third time in its past four games.

In the opener of a three-game Western swing, Tre Mann added 18 points and Josh Giddey 15 to complement team highs in rebounds with seven and assists with eight.

Oklahoma City lost despite shooting 48.4 percent. Golden State hit 57.7 percent of its shot attempts.

After leading by seven at the break, the Warriors dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Thunder 44-26 behind 13 points from Poole and nine from Wiggins. Golden State cruised from there, leading by as many as 29 in the final period.
