Knicks 107, Bucks 101 (2OT): Carmelo Anthony scored eight of his 29 points in the second overtime as New York outlasted host Milwaukee.

After squandering a chance to win in the first extra period, the Knicks took care of business in the second. J.R. Smith knocked down a long jumper to put New York ahead for good with 3:08 left, and Anthony put things away with a long 3-pointer from the right wing inside the final minute as the Knicks overcame a 37.6-percent shooting performance

Beno Udrih scored 21 points for New York while J.R. Smith added 19 despite going just 5-of-17 from 3-point range. Brandon Knight had a career-best 36 points in defeat for the Bucks, who have won just two of 13 home games this season.

Anthony's buzzer-beating layup to end the opening quarter put New York ahead by two, and the Knicks fended off several Milwaukee challenges - and overcame 22 first-half points from Knight - to carry a 45-44 edge into the break. Neither team led by more than four points in a back-and-forth third quarter, which saw Anthony connect on a 3-pointer from well behind the line with 32 seconds left to send the Knicks into the fourth ahead 68-66.

Milwaukee jumped back ahead on John Henson's short jumper with eight minutes remaining, kicking off a stretch of 10 lead changes in a six-minute span. Knight surpassed his career high for points with a layup that helped Milwaukee draw even yet again, and both teams missed potential game-tying attempts in the final 20 seconds of regulation.

GAME NOTEBOOK: New York had a chance to let free throws decide the game in the first OT, but PF Andrea Bargnani inexplicably launched - and missed - a 3-point attempt with 11 seconds left, New York up by two and the shot clock turned off. Milwaukee promptly grabbed the rebound, called timeout and eventually tied the game on Henson's putback at the buzzer. ... Anthony has either led the Knicks or shared the lead in scoring in every game this season. ... Bucks SF Giannis Antetokounmpo became the youngest player in franchise history to start a game. Antetokounmpo, who turned 19 on Dec. 6, finished with 10 points and seven rebounds in 42 minutes.
