Spurs 109, Warriors 91: Tony Parker led the way with 25 points and 10 assists as host San Antonio grabbed a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference semifinals over Golden State.

Kawhi Leonard scored 17 points and Danny Green added 16 for the Spurs, who took back control of the perimeter and throttled the Warriors’ best shooters. San Antonio can close out the best-of-seven series in Game 6 at Golden State on Thursday.

Harrison Barnes scored 25 points and Jarrett Jack had 20 but Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were limited to a total of 13 on 6-of-22 shooting as the Warriors fell to 1-31 in their last 32 trips to San Antonio.

The Spurs led most of the night but Golden State used an 8-2 run to close to within 92-84 with 6:11 left. San Antonio immediately took the momentum back on Leonard’s 3-pointer, and Parker scored on consecutive possessions before Manu Ginobili’s 3-pointer gave the Spurs a 102-84 advantage and emptied the benches with 4:03 left.

The Warriors held a three-point lead midway through the first quarter before San Antonio assumed control. Parker scored the first six points and Ginobili capped a 15-0 run with a 3-pointer to give the Spurs the lead for good.

Golden State cut it to 37-28 by the end of the first and were as close as 52-51 after Curry’s lone 3-pointer splashed through with 1:45 left in the first half. Leonard’s short jumper made it a three-point lead at the half.

Green capped a 7-0 run with a dunk off Parker’s feed to push it back to double figures early in the third, and the lead was 83-72 heading into the fourth.
