Rockets 111, Suns 81: Rookie Donatas Motiejunas scored a season-high 19 points to lead five starters in double figures as host Houston rolled.
James Harden added 18 points and Omer Asik had 14 and seven rebounds as the Rockets avenged a two-point loss in Phoenix on Saturday and halted a three-game losing streak to the Suns.
Wesley Johnson scored 15 points and Goran Dragic added 11 for Phoenix, which had won 10 of the 13 previous matchups against Houston.
The Rockets used a 15-0 run in the second quarter to surge ahead by 10 points en route to a 58-45 halftime advantage. A 7-0 spurt by Houston extended the lead to 19 before the Suns battled back to whittle the deficit to 11.
Motiejunas took over at that point, scoring seven points in a 13-0 burst as the Rockets pushed the lead to 24 points to turn it into a rout.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Houston went 10-of-21 from behind the arc, marking a season-high sixth straight game with at least 10 3-pointers made. ... Rockets rookie F Thomas Robinson, acquired from Sacramento at the trade deadline, had 12 points and seven rebounds. ... Reserve F Greg Smith had 12 rebounds to help Houston control the glass 46-29.
