Mountcastle continued his success against the Blue Jays. He has 17 home runs and 48 RBIs in 56 career games against them.
Burnes (6-2) allowed one run, four hits and one walk while striking out five. It was his career-best eighth consecutive quality start (at least six innings, three or fewer runs).

Baltimore added three runs in the fifth against Francis. Henderson doubled, took third on a balk and scored on Rutschman's single to right. Mountcastle followed with his 10th home run of the season on a blast to center.
Zach Pop walked Henderson and Rutschman to open the Baltimore seventh. After Mountcastle grounded into a double play, Anthony Santander hit an RBI double to right.
Springer hit his fifth homer of the season with two out in the bottom of the seventh.
Toronto's Nate Pearson walked Cowser and gave up Norby's home run on a blast to left in the eighth. Norby played his first major league game on Monday and was 0-for-6 in the two games until the blast.
Jacob Webb replaced Burnes and pitched a perfect home eighth. Nick Vespi allowed only a single in the Toronto ninth.
