Princeton beat Rutgers, 78-73, in overtime on Friday to beat a BCS team for the first time in six years.
Dan Malvraides had 26 points and Douglas Davis made several crucial free throws in overtime to seal the deal.
Despite blowing a 44-38 halftime lead, Princeton was able to force overtime when Ian Hummer went to the rim and scored with 34 seconds left in the second half.
Rutgers freshman Mike Poole had a strong showing in his debut with 10 points and two steals.
Princeton heads to Durham, NC take on No. 1 Duke on Sunday, while Rutgers will look to rebound against Fairfield at home Monday.
