Tyreke Evans scored 22 points and DeMarcus Cousins had 19 points and nine rebounds as the Sacramento Kings handed the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder a 106-101 loss on Thursday night.
Marcus Thornton had 15 points, Jason Thompson had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Donte Green added 10 points for the Kings.
Russell Westbrook, who was named as an All-Star reserve, scored 33 points for the Thunder (20-6), who had 23 turnovers. Kevin Durant had 27 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort.
James Harden had 17 points and five rebounds off the bench and Daequan Cook scored 11.
Oklahoma City took a 95-87 lead with 5:56 left on Cook's 3-pointer. The Kings scored seven unanswered points and rallied to 95-94 lead on Thornton's 3-pointer.
Durant made it 97-94, but Thornton tied it with another 3-pointer from the right corner. Cousins made one of two free throws before Westbrook scored from the top of the key with 1:19 remaining. Green gave the Kings a 100-99 lead on two free throws.
Westbrook stepped out of bounds with 49 seconds left for his seventh turnover. Evans made one of two free throws for a 101-99 lead and Durant missed a 3-pointer from 26 feet.
Cousins added two more free throws, giving the Kings a four-point edge and Evans added two more to seal the victory.
