USF 74, UCF 45: Freshmen Troy Holston Jr. and Bo Zeigler combined for 39 points as the host Bulls won for the second time in their last 15 games in an American Athletic Conference game.

Zeigler made 8-of-12 from the field in scoring a career-high 20 points and also grabbed 10 rebounds and Holston supplied 19 points and 10 boards for USF (9-21, 3-14). Anthony Collins had 12 points, six assists and four rebounds and Nehemias Morillo contributed 12 points and six boards for the Bulls.

Staphon Blair notched 12 points and four blocks for UCF (12-17, 5-13), which closed the regular season with four straight losses. Shaheed Davis had eight points and seven rebounds for the Knights.

Morillo scored eight points and Holston made back-to-back 3-pointers as the Bulls made 11 of their first 13 shots and grabbed a 23-6 lead less than eight minutes into the first half. Holston added two free throws and a layup to make it 33-9 and USF took a 43-23 lead into the break.

Zeigler scored the first nine points in the second half for the Bulls, who led 52-27 with 16 minutes remaining. Davis scored six points to get the deficit back to 20, but Zeigler made a pair of layups and Holston canned a triple to make it 66-39 with less than eight minutes left.
