Mets 2, Yankees 1: David Wright singled in the tying run and scored the game-winning run on Lucas Duda's single in the bottom of the ninth to give the host Mets a sweep of the two-game series.

Daniel Murphy ignited the winning rally with a ground-rule double off Yankees closer Mariano Rivera, who suffered his first blown save in 19 chances. Wright followed with a single to center and took second on the throw to the plate before Duda dumped a single into right-center to give the Mets their second straight 2-1 victory over their cross-city rivals.

Scott Rice (3-3) got the victory with one inning in relief of Matt Harvey, who struck out 10 and allowed one run on six hits in eight innings to remain undefeated. The Subway Series now shifts to Yankee Stadium for two games Wednesday and Thursday.

Yankees right-hander Hiroki Kuroda turned in a gem, striking out seven and allowing only four singles in seven scoreless frames, and David Robertson pitched a perfect eighth to hand the lead to Rivera, baseball's career saves leader.

The Yankees went ahead in the sixth when Brett Gardner led off with a single and moved to second on Marlon Byrd's error. He took third on a groundout before coming home on Lyle Overbay's single up the middle.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rivera, who is being honored by opposing teams during his final season, threw out the ceremonial first pitch to former Mets closer John Franco. ... In three starts against AL clubs this season, Harvey has allowed two runs on nine hits while striking out 28 in 25 innings. ... Yankees RHP Joba Chamberlain (oblique), sidelined since May 2, was activated from the 15-day disabled list and LHP David Huff was designated for assignment. ...
