Brewers 4, Cubs 2: Ryan Braun hit a three-run home run and Wily Peralta pitched effectively into the seventh as Milwaukee extended its winning streak to seven games.

Peralta (1-1) allowed two runs on five hits over 6 2/3 as the Brewers swept the three-game set and also won their seventh consecutive home meeting against division rival Chicago.

The Cubs staked Scott Feldman (0-3) to a 2-0 lead on Anthony Rizzo's sixth homer of the season, a two-run blast to center, but the right-hander couldn't hold the lead.

The Brewers pushed across a run in the fourth and took the lead on Braun's three-run blast in the fifth, which followed Feldman's two-out throwing error that extended the inning.

The Cubs put two on with two out in the seventh to chase Peralta, but John Axford induced a flyout from David DeJesus to preserve the lead. Nate Schierholtz drew a leadoff walk in the ninth, but Jim Henderson came on and retired the next three batters for his fourth save.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Braun was ejected by home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi after flipping his bat following a called third strike in the eighth. ... Rizzo has homered in three of the past four games. ... Cubs SS Starlin Castro extended his major league-best hitting streak to 13 games.
