Luke Glendening scored the game-winner in the middle of the third period as the Tampa Bay Lightning rallied to a 6-4 win over the visiting Edmonton Oilers on Saturday afternoon.

After Steven Stamkos tied it 4-4 at 9:28, Glendening charged the net on a break 39 seconds later and tipped in his first goal on a pass from Cole Koepke, who notched his first career assist.

Mikhail Sergachev, who had two assists, sent in a long empty-netter with 55 seconds left to seal the club's 10th win in the past 11 meetings against Edmonton in Tampa (10-1-0).

Nikita Kucherov tallied twice and had an assist, and Tanner Jeannot scored. Jonas Johansson made 39 saves.

The Oilers' Derek Ryan scored his first two goals this season, and James Hamblin and Evan Bouchard (200th NHL game) hit the net. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins had two assists.

Goalie Stuart Skinner stopped 18 shots. Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch (2-1-0) lost for the first time with his new club.

Ryan took a breakaway pass from Nugent-Hopkins and broke in on Johansson, barely guiding in his first goal and the club's second short-handed one just 3:39 into the match.

In only his 16th NHL game, Hamblin sent home his first career goal from the left circle at 8:31. The Edmonton native then tapped above his heart, looked skyward and raised his stick in celebration.

After Darnell Nurse's minor penalty put Tampa Bay on its third power play, the club cashed in when Kucherov slid a pass toward the crease. The puck banked off the right skate of Edmonton defenseman Mattias Ekholm and in with 51 seconds left to cut the lead in half.

Despite having one fewer power play than the Lightning, Edmonton peppered Johansson with 19 shots while allowing 10.

After Brandon Hagel went to the dressing room after being hit in the head by Cody Ceci, Kucherov tied it at 2 at four-on-four play by putting in his own rebound -- his team-leading 13th goal -- at 12:56 of the second.

But Ryan restored Edmonton's lead when he jammed home his second tally at 15:55.

In the final frame, Jeannot's one-timer for his third goal tied it again, but in four-on-four action, Bouchard blistered his fourth tally at 8:04 for a 4-3 lead.
