Ben Roethlisberger passed for 193 yards and a touchdown and the Pittsburgh Steelers defense forced four turnovers en route to a 13-9 victory over the host Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

Ike Taylor, Ryan Mundy and Keenan Lewis each grabbed an interception for the Steelers (8-3), who kept pace with the Baltimore Ravens atop the AFC North.

The Chiefs (4-7) fell three games behind the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West.

The Steelers picked up all of their points in the second quarter, twice scoring off Kansas City turnovers.

Tyler Palko was intercepted on two consecutive pass attempts, with Pittsburgh turning the first into a field goal and converting the second into a touchdown when Roethlisberger connected with tight end Weslye Saunders on a 2-yard pass.

The Steelers lost safety Troy Polamalu on the first defensive series, but Mundy stepped it up from the other safety spot, finishing with 10 tackles and the interception.

Kansas City was driving in the final minute when Dwayne Bowe and Palko had a miscommunication on a route, leading to Lewis’ game-clinching interception.

The Chiefs have one touchdown in their last 45 offensive possessions.
