Cade Cunningham scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half as No. 23 Oklahoma State defeated Kansas State 67-60 on Saturday in Stillwater, Okla.
It was the first home game as a ranked team since 2015 for the Cowboys.
Oklahoma State (13-6, 6-6 Big 12) had a balanced scoring attack. Rondel Walker and Bryce Williams each had 10 points.
Cunningham continued a common theme this year, as he is averaging almost twice as many points in the second half of games as he is in the first half.
The Wildcats (5-17, 1-12) lost their 12th straight game, the longest losing streak in school history. They were led by Antonio Gordon with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Nijel Pack added 14 points and Davion Bradford had 10.
The Wildcats had been showing signs of progress recently, losing by three points to No. 13 Texas in their last outing. But they fell behind big early and trailed by 20 early in the second half.
Kansas State went on a 16-0 run to pull within 41-37 before Oklahoma State responded with a 7-0 run of its own. Cunningham started it with a wide-open 3-pointer.
Kansas State never got closer than seven points the rest of the game.
Neither team shot well in the first half. The Wildcats were just 8 of 32 from the field, missing all eight attempts from behind the arc. The Cowboys weren't much better, hitting 11 of 29 shots overall and 5 of 17 from long range.
Cunningham didn't attempt a field goal for the first 13:30. He scored his first points with 6:09 left in the half with an alley-oop dunk and a free throw.
The Cowboys took control late and took a 35-19 lead into halftime. Williams led OSU with 10 points at halftime. Kansas State was led by Gordon with six points.
