No. 1 Indiana 73, Iowa 60: Cody Zeller had 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Hoosiers bounced back from Tuesday's loss to beat the visiting Hawkeyes.
Freshman Yogi Ferrell added a career-high 19 points for the Hoosiers (25-4, 13-3 Big Ten), who never trailed after Zeller's free throw made it 3-2 with 2:30 elapsed. It was the 13th career double-double for Zeller, who started 0-of-4 from the floor.
Roy Devyn Marble scored 18 of his team-high 20 points in the second half for the Hawkeyes (18-11, 7-9). Aaron White added 14 and Eric May had 12 points.
Zeller's three-point play with 9:27 left gave Indiana a 50-33 lead and Iowa never got closer than 10 the rest of the way. Victor Oladipo and Ferrell hit 3-pointers in the final minute after Indiana missed its first 12 attempts from the arc as the Hoosiers rebounded from their 77-73 upset loss at Minnesota.
Melsahn Basabe's layup with 3:37 left got Iowa within 20-14 but Indiana ended the first half on a 6-0 run, started by Will Sheehey's dunk. The Hawkeyes had as many turnovers (14) as points in the first half and the teams were a combined 0-of-14 from the 3-point line.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The halftime score - 26-14 - was the fewest scored by Indiana and fewest allowed by the Hoosiers this season. ... The teams combined for 52 personal fouls and 66 free throws. Indiana went 29-of-42 at the line while Iowa was 17-of-24. ... The Hoosiers recorded 25 regular-season wins for the sixth time in school history.
